John Slimp Training and Development

name My name is John Slimp and I am a proven Business Executive with over 30 years of experience, specifically in the Retail Industry. I have worked for small and big companies, specialty companies as well as big box retailers. I have both Corporate as well as Field experience. I started out as a part time salesperson and worked my way up the ladder: Assistant Manager, Manager, District Manager, Regional Manager and Vice President.

Some people get their Coaching and Training experience through a 16 hour computer class. I got mine the old fashioned way with real world experience, rolling up my sleeves, getting my hands dirty and doing the job!

I am a graduate of Missouri University with a degree in Sociology and Psychology. I am a graduate of the Center for Creative Leadership as well as an Authorized DiSC Distributor.
